I feel like I have reached a new level in geekiness as I have just written my first ViM plugin, ViM XML-RPC Paste plugin This plugin purpose is to send the code you have in ViM to a pastebin website such a paste.debian.net. It's based on Dcraven vimpastebin script which transfered the code directly via the url and had to parse the resulting page to know where it was posted. Compared to that XML-RPC is a much cleaner and easier solution, for proof, the original script doesn't work anymore since most pastebin script have updated their software and doesn't use the same page and url anymore.

The plugin is available on the Vim script website and in a BZR branch hosted on launchpad.

OT: I've started playing Dune 1 this game is really impressive for something its age, I love it.
